BAMBBO GROVE#5:FINAL POST

1) I think that the ending was not bad but I think they could of told us about there dad sooner than like at the back of the book .But I think it was good enough to say about themselfs but i think that they could of said something about there dad because it was kind of interesting and like they didnt mention him like alot. But I also think that they wanted to mention the dad at the end of the book to maybe like surprise the people who read it to see like there reaction.

2) So I think that they waned to have this celebration to like forget some of there past and have a little fun by creating that celebration.And for the question if I was to be in there position, I were to see how they acted like their attitude.Also like what they do during there free time and stuff.

3)The character that I would respect the most would be Yoko because; like to see what she accually feels.Although she changed during time in the book for example her attitude were changed.Also that to me she has learned a couple of lessons that things are never going to happen directly how she wants it.

4)Some things that I learned while reading the book was that the traditions that the Koreans and the Japaneses had like for example the Koreans carried a bag on their hips and the Japaneses carried a rucksack on their backs.I had also learned about there life-style form the characters;oh ya and how they act on so many things that happen to them.

5)I think that the theme of this book was to learn about Moral courage.For example how to believe in yourself and help others that are around you.So I mean to help others in your sorroundings and to believe in your-self as much as possible so you'll be able to accomplish things.

BAMBOO GROVE POST #4

1)i think that there really nice to each other and there trying to help each other as much as posibble to stay friends,because Yoko would be lonley if Mr.Naido wasnt her friend.I think that they have a bit stuff in common for example they both dont really have friends there at school and they try to give each other company cuz there aat school they dont really have friends.
2)To me it seems that Ko's idea went pretty well during the New Years Feast because she was trying to help her sister with somethin and it was kinda sad that she had to spend her savings for shoes on somethin to help her sis on.i think that , that was really noce idea. her attitude went kinda bad baceuse she went to a kind person into a whining and man person, but i also think that to her, her family is much more important to her than anything else.And i think that she doesnt really care about what people say to her any more.
3)question:how do u think ko feels about not having her mother with her any more?
answer:i think Ko feels sad but not lonley cuz she has her sister.i think that because its feels sad when u loose someone u really loved and mostly when its someone in your family,but i think she wants to move on on her life(she still has Yoko)

BAMBOO GROVE POST#3

1)a.i think they wanted to leave it was becuase the mom didnt want Yoko to be in a scary and really dangerous place like that because the grils were getting raped.it was scary to be there.

b.Somehow they neede to get out of there because it was getting worse than scary.And so know one can resist anything that scary that is happen.

2)what emotion would u feel when u heard about this that happen?
i feel choked and kinda like scared because if i was in there pocition i will probably start going somewhere else or like go as far as them as i can be; wouldnt like to be raped mostly when its all girls.

BAMBOO GROVE POST #2

1) My opinion is that Hideo is a very nice person who doesn't just think about himself but tries to help other people.Also think that Hideo is a caring person who likes to to help people all the time. so i think that he is trying to help his famiy as much as he can.I also think that he is kinda smart by what he does.
2)If i were to be in there position and i only had ten minutes to pack every thing i can;i will probably take like 1 or 2 blankets,i will also take like about 2 canteens full of water for if thursty,probably some snacks for when hungry,oh and some emergency things for when i get hurt.
3)One of the most interesting and sad part that i liked duing the book is when when all the army guys suddenly came and started shooting;and hideos best friend got shot and he died.I think that was sad because its really sad when i loose some one you really love as like a friend or a family member and you cant do anything else about it.
