1-The book so far has been preety sad an interesting because why would they do that just kill the parents for like no other reason. Well I think they had to do it any ways because it was already there plan so ya. But its also not fair that they just killed them because they had a a life to live and to take care of the family liek kids and stuff.
2-Well it has been also sad because Keav died and all she wanted to do is see her father'but I guess she wasnt in time.Well I guess if she hadent gotten her that sick she could of had time to see her father.Also what was really sad was that they lost her body somewhere in the clinic and there was no way they could of bury her.[because you cant bury something if the body isnt there]
3-Do you think that Khmer is worring more about the trading more than she neds to be paying attention to the people who needs food and starving?

1. Well yeah, They people are evil. They only care about their own lives. So of course they are going to kill people.
2.I know it is sad. I feel for her famiy. She also kind of my favorite. I was really sad when she died
3. Yes, they need to pay back china for all of the money they had borrowed. So they killing people who are not needed and can't help them
(1.) I agree, this book has been very sad so far. I can't beilive they can just kill people like that.
(3.) Yeah, they only care about themselfs and they don't care if everyone else starves.
3. Yes I think that they don't care about the people who are dying because of starvation they only care about themselves and their just doing things that only make them happy and don't care about how everyone else feels.=(
