Quote1:"You're in for it now. When Papa comes home, he's going to throw you out on the street, where you belong."
Page: 100
Significance: The reason I decided this quote was significance to me it was because it relates to me. For example, of you know I stoled something and I went home; and my mom found out. Im afraid to go home because my mom might get me in really big trouble and throw me off to the street. So I thought it was really significance and it couldve related to some people.
Question:What would you do if you were to know that your partner did something wrong and she was getting kicked off to the street?
Quote2:"Besides, I havent had a good fight in a long time?"

Significance: The reason of me choosing this quote is because I didnt really understabd what she was talking about because before that she was talking about something else I think.
Connection:I dont think I have a connection with this I think it it was just a miss-understanding.
Question:What did she mean by that?

Quote# 1: I don't know how this is is significant, but it is a connection. What I think of the quote, is that the girls Hidgeradge, Trudy, and Elsa have been trying to get the Nolan family out of their home. Now they have finally got to the point where they can.
Question: I really don't know what I would do, it is kind of a situation you don't really want to get into, but I would help that person.
Quote # 2: I think that in the quote Rose is trying to say that for while she wasn't allowed to put up a fuss because in the beginning before they came to America, and arrived at Uncle Patrick's place Ma said not to do anything that might kick them out on the streets. SO Rose has said something mean to one of the girls and considers it a fight.
Question: As I said before in the significance of the quote Rose hasn't been able to be mean to any of the girls and had to be completely nice.
~Haileigh
Quote #1: Response/Comment: I think this quote actually is talking about how Uncle Patrick’s family is annoyed by Margaret Rose’s family and how Uncle Patrick’s family doesn’t want Margaret Rose’s family to stay at their house. I think this quote has to do with how much Americans care about immigrants.
Question #1: Answer: I don’t really know what I would do in that situation but I think I would help my partner. Also, I would help my partner understand what they did wrong, why it was wrong, and why they shouldn’t do it again.
Quote #2: Response/Comment: In this quote Gussie is going to go to Mr. Moscovitz’s sweatshop with Margaret Rose to go and argue about why he didn’t give money to Margaret Rose for doing the paper flowers. Also they were going to Mr. Moscovitz’s sweatshop to get Margaret Rose’s coat.
Question #2: Answer: In this quote Gussie was talking about that she hasn’t argued or gotten in trouble for a long time. She said that because right now they were going to go to Mr. Moscovitz’s shop and fight so that he could give Margaret Rose her money and coat.
