Journal #3

Perspective:Jem

"We had two weeks of the coldest weather since 1885" thats what Atticus said and he was right. I couldnt belive it.I looked outside and magic... I actually saw snow outside thinking that the world was ending and so did the rest of us, it was pretty cool I must say but it wasnt cool when poor Atticus had to get out of the bathroom half-shaved because of what I did.Good thing that Atticus had calmed me down because look I knew what it was I just had never seen it like right in front of my eyes. The telephone operator. She was entrusted making an announcement saying that there will be no school.

Later on, Scout and I decided that we should go outside to build a snowman. We went outside. I got disapointed that their will be enough snow even for a snowball. But I said to myself that I needed more snow, so we went to Miss Maudie the old lady who lives adjecent to us and asked for more snow.Miss Maudie and I were acquainted shes really nice to us but not really of a friend to me. She agreed. Scout and I were finantical because of the more snow we got to use. I thought that we shouldve waited till more snow came down so we would be able to use more to be able to build a snowman.I thought bulding a snowman was going to be easy but I guess I was wrong building a snowman is kind of hard. We tryed our best to make the snowman to look as good a possible but I guess it was alright. I showed Scout my perplexity of making a snowman.

good job on using the vocab words. you seem to get them very well and can incorporate them into the post very well
